I have a phenomenal ACT/SAT score, an 800 on one subject test, but a 610 on another, I just bombed it somehow.

What do I do about the 610? Should I retake the same subject test and improve it so colleges won't see the original? Do I take other subject tests for colleges to look at? Do I leave it and do nothing?

I'm talking about colleges like UPenn, Columbia, Wash U, Michigan, etc, top tier schools.

HELP!

same situation as you! would like an answer also (:

I suppose you could do both. Re-take the 610 test after studying and pick another you think you may do well on. There should be sample questions on College Board to give you an idea of the types of questions and there are books available. You won’t be taking SAT/ACT in the fall, so it should be doable to take 2.

Yeah I agree just retake or don’t send anyt

same situation, but what do you think about retaking a 690?

Some schools don’t take part in score choice, and so they will want to see that score anyway. However, they usually have policies that say they would only consider the highest scores, so you should be fine. Check each of your schools policies.

if you are above a 600 I dont think anyone “bombed” anything, thats overexaggerating. You did okay, if it really bothers you don’t send that secific subject test, or buy a book and retake it again :)
