I am wondering how much it would cost to attend Sophie Davis in comparison to going to Hunter or another CUNY. I am also wondering if anyone here knows about the cost of med school for Sophie Davis and if they offer better/more scholarships than other 7 year programs. Thanks! Please answer!
If you can get into Macauley Honors, nothing. Go the cuny.edu website and check the tuition numbers.
Are you asking how much it will cost you if you get into Sophie Davis Med school??
Are you in high school now? Or in college?
The problem with Macaulay honors is that it doesn’t work with Sophie Davis. I can’t find any net price calculator…
I am a current senior and will be applying in the fall. I am referring to the 7 year BS/MD program, which I can’t seem to find much information regarding financial information (maybe I’m not looking in the right places).
@sybbie719 can you answer this?
https://www.ccny.cuny.edu/bursar/tuition-and-fees-fall-2016-spring-2017 will give you the tuition. The housing is separate. I have friends who went to Sophie Davis but it was 40 years ago. Have you googled Sophie Davis at cuny?
It appears that you’re in high school…

Are there any 7 year programs like Sophie Davis, specifically those that have a less strict GPA maintenance policy? Programs where you can do it easy for undergrad, not worrying about too much pressure? Thanks!

???
What are your stats?
BS/MD programs are for top students. SD only accepts about 5-7% of applicants. For cost, look at the website.
I’m with the OP…I can not seem to find out the tuition costs for the BS/MD program on the website.
But the key is…the acceptance rate is VERY low. VERY.
Sophie Davis is an primarily an undergrad program. You can apply for a BS/MD program at CIty College, but Sophie Davis is not a med school. In the past you completed your undergrad at CUNy and they had approximately 7 partner med schools that they worked to assist students with the admissions process.
Now that CUNY is launching a med school Sophie Davis will be a full CUNY program.
You attend med school at CUNY School of Medicine, opening fall 2016 (both degrees will be conferred by CUNY- CIty College of New York).
Because it is part of the CUNY, Med school tuition will most likely be less expensive for NYC residents.
Admissions: Sophie Davis
