How NOT to feel anxious about college decisions

Hey guys!
I’m having a lot of trouble not thinking about the college decision process. I have done most of my interviews and there isn’t anything else I can do.
Any REALISTIC tips on how to stay focused in school and not overthinking and feeling anxious about college decisions? I think a lot of us could use from some help on this front

Positive self talk. You’ve done what you can. The decisions will be made soon. You have no control. Focus on what you have control of. A year from now this will be a distant memory and you will most likely be in college somewhere that you applied.

Eat ice cream. Keep busy. Enjoy the fact that apps are turned in, and you don’t have to work on them any more. Work out.

If you’re a goal setter, start working on your next goal. Sink yourself into reading up on tips for accomplishing your next goal. You will find yourself forgetting about this. Distance yourself temporarily from those who are focused on “talking about it”.

Enjoy the present. Learn how to be in it. Really, a great life skill. This is your high school experience – your last time living at home. Focus on friends and family. There are parts of this you’ll miss when you move on - don’t miss it now!

Let go of worrying about decisions. They are out of your control. And when it comes time to choose a school, remember that each path will offer unique twists and turns, but that it’s up to you to make the most of the path you choose.

In a nutshell, it’s the journey, not the destination.

Enjoy the rest of your senior year! Your apps are in, now it’s a waiting game so there’s no point in stressing out about them. Focus on finishing the remainder of the school year (don’t let your grades drop) and keep yourself occupied with your hobbies and extracurriculars.

Honestly… spend less time following CC threads like crazy (what I did at first) and more time hanging out with your friends and family (what I’m trying to do now).
