I was just curious because I got about 17 released SAT exam from as late as March 2005 to as early as June 2012 and my question is, how often would questions from these exams appear on the upcoming SAT exams

Questions on QAS tests will never reappear as is; the questions are retired when published.

However, there are usually similar quedtions each year. There is a specific program (can’t remember name right now) that teaches kids to ace the SATs by using tricks based on certain correlations in word placement in the question and the correct answer. Study the material from those earlier tests, but also pay attention to the way the questions are asked.

Please share when you remember it :).

As far as I know, never.

^ I agree – I’ve never heard of a released question being re-used. But how does this answer affect the way you prepare? I mean, suppose I told you that in fact about 10 of the questions in your collection of released tests were going to appear on YOUR test. But 17 tests-worth of questions is too many to memorize. So here’s what you do: go over all of those tests with such intensitity that you understand all of them in complete detail. I mean, you can explain any of the answers to anyone. Then when they show up on your test, you nail them. Oh, wait – they are not going to show up. But lots of other similar questions will be there and they will test the same skills in the same manner and at the same level of difficulty. Your preparation will be rewarded.

Bottom line: congrats on accumulating so many real tests. No McGraw hill for you! But now you still have to do the work…
