Okay, so I'm a chemistry major right now. Only two chemistry classes that I need are being offered this quarter (110A and 172). Both are full and one also conflicts with my physics 1C class. I also planned to take a few upper division math classes, but they are restricted to math majors (I was told this only applies to first pass) and will probably be full by my second pass. I really am desperate for these classes and was wondering how difficult it would be to add any of these later. At community college it was very hard to get in if you weren't on the waitlist. How is the situation at UCLA?

I was able to add roughly 12-15 “full” classes during my time at UCLA. It obviously differs for each class/teacher/major/etc, but its definitely possible.

I’m only in my 3rd quarter, but I’ve already gotten into two “full” classes for the spring. I emailed to the professors, made my case (they were in my major) and they gave me a pte. Try contacting them!
