How rare is this!!??? ...(scores)..my friend is a genius. omg

36 english
36 reading
(math/science are OK)

800 SAT I verbal
800 SATII lit

Perfect ACT essay scores

missed ONE on the AP Lang exam

HOw many % of people in united states get this?
she goes to my school!!!

(sophomore too)

Wow! Female, sophomore, she's definently in the minority there. Congrats to her!! I guess math/science isn't really her thing.

that is pretty amazing, but keep in mind they're just test scores. I'd say the most impressive is missing 1 on the AP Lang exam, the other ones are great too but kinda common.

how would you know if you missed one on the ap?

Yeah, geez, who doesn't get an 800 on SAT 2 Lit these days right???

Missed ONE on the AP...does that mean she got a 2?

but, perfects on ALL of them

(even the ap exam, maybe)
she missed one because it was her first time taking it

that is like 0.000001% of students

I didn't lol
700
but I took it freshman year, and I decided, hey I'm doing CS, so who cares about literature?

translation for chanman: out of the entire US population, 3 people get it in their lifetime?

math must not be your thing lol

haha, no i think he meant 1 question on the AP, although i'm not sure how she would know that. that "common" remark I meant was relative, an 800 on Lit is excellent on any level, but its just one score and there are probably hundreds who achieved that (meaning it doesn't necessarily evoke the term genius, which is really overused nowadays)

How would you know that you missed exactly one question on that AP exam? Is there a Q&A Service for it?

The closest to perfect test scores that I've seen...I have a friend who got 36 ACT and 1600 SAT, both on her first try.

Don't you just want to shank people like that sometimes? Lol

Not that rare compared to those who get scores like a composite 36, 2400 or 1600, and multiple SAT II 800s, but still good.

I guess that combination, but there are many (relatively) others that have similar test stats.

Like this one?
SAT I 1350 Grade 7
SAT I 1600 Grade 10
SAT II Math IIC 800 Grade 9
SAT II Writing 800 Grade 10
SAT II Physics 800 Grade 11
SAT II Chemistry 800 Grade 12
SAT II Biology 770 Grade 9
SAT II World History 780 Grade 10
SAT II US History 790 Grade 10
AP Calc AB 5 Grade 9
AP Calc BC 5 Grade 10
AP Physics C Mech 5
AP US History 5

hmm...sounds Asian lol

Liar..........

APs dont tell u how many questions u missed...

but honestly i wouldnt say thats terribly rare...especially if ur going to a top school if u look at the applicants many people have a collecton of 5s and 800s that they can boast

not rare at all...the AP lang thing is a lie...my best friend scored 800writing 800lit 800verbal SAT1 5 AP lang/lit 35 composite ACT 36 english 34 reading and ive seen these scores for myself because i didnt believe him...also 750 math 1c/8002c/800 chem/800 physics/800 bio molecular/800 spanish he is NOT genius just a very good test taker....he was still rejected by EVERY ivy he applied to and will be attending vanderbilt on a full ride (not 2 shabby)

I would be more impressed if she had a 1590 or a 2390.. try getting that number.. that is the lowest on the SAT's without looking at 410 and 610.

A friend scored 240 on the PSAT, 1600 on the SAT (as a sophomore), and 800 on each of her SAT2s. Nice article about her in the local paper. She'll be going to MIT in the fall.

Hey I got a friend who got
800 French, 800 German and 800 writing

but he'z really bad in sciences , got 560 in Maths Reasoning and 640 in Maths IIC.

Maybe there are certain people with "inborn" special abilities in some fields.
