How realistic are the Princeton Review practice tests?

This may seem like a silly question once you read it, sorry for that. I've already given the SAT once with a composite score of 2190 (CR 720; M 770; W 700) and I used both PR and the BB to prepare.

I put my scores on a spreadsheet and my average composite score from 8 PR tests was 2090 (CR 660; M 690; W 740). My BB average composite score from 5 tests was 2130 (CR 680; M 750; W 700).

I'm retaking the SAT in October to improve on my CR and W scores. I've taken 2 practice tests from the new edition of the PR book that has 4 practice tests. I got a composite of 2250 on both. My section-wise score on the first was (CR 690; M 790; W 770), and on the second it was (CR 760; M 730; W 760).

I scored 100 higher on my actual SAT than my projected score according to my PR practice test averages the first time around. Does anyone have any idea what kind of a score I can get this time? I'm really hoping to break the 2300 barrier. A 100 point score boost over 2250 seems quite unlikely, especially since it's the second time I'm writing it. Personally, I think 2280/2290 seems realistic.

Thoughts?

They’re harder than the actual tests

I actually think they’re much easier than the actual tests - consistently got in the 2370-2400 range on their tests, but got a 2320 on the real thing.
