When I say Governor's School, I'm not refering to the school year type (which I just learned even existed) but I mean the summer residential governor's schools. I sit worth including on an application? I attended VA Governor's School for Agriculture at Virginia Tech. Any input?

I don't know about Virginia, but in NJ the application process is pretty vigorous and selective. It probably is a good thing to put down on your college app.

It is very much worth including. I know here in NJ, it's a really big deal

i applied in NJ and I got to the state level, but was then rejected (got past the school and county levels). should I still include it on my app?

I'm in the same boat as you, mrchipmunk90 (applied for public issues). I'm not sure, either. We got to the last pool, but we didn't get in. Was the finalist pool really small?

I was a NJ finalist last year and put it on my apps. It worked out just fine

It's pretty ridiculously competitive here in PA.

I know NJ and PA gov schools are both very very highly regarded. Its def something to put on your app and be proud of

thanks all for the input :)
