How screwed am I? Senior Grades

Does anyone know just exactly how much weight schools put on first semester senior grades? It looks like I'm going to end up having a B+ in Physics (89.83)... :c

This is what you’re worried about? If this is the first B you’ve gotten, the bigger problem is you probably didn’t challenge yourself very much.

I understand that college admissions is a nerve-wracking time but you’ve taken leave of common sense, menacing. You honestly think a single grade of a B+ is going to be a determinant factor?

If you’re a borderline student (like I am), don’t colleges look at your first semester senior grades more closely than others? Like it could be the tipping point of either a yes or a no :L

Not sure what you mean by “borderline”, but please try not to worry. If most of your grades are As and you get a B+ in a difficult subject like physics, you are doing fine, at least in terms of your grades.

Try not to worry, you are fine and anxiety is normal.

My hunch was right. You’re pretty off kilter (UW GPA: 3.95,-WGPA: 4.21).

So what precipitous drop will befall your GPA? *borderline student * … pfft.

@MrMom62 I have taken all honors and AP courses offered since 9th grade and my first B ever was in Physics so I feel his pain. i was also worried about it because I was applying to college as an engineerong major. So yes, it is possible to get all As in high school while taking difficult classes

Oh well. I guess I can’t change it now. Thanks for the replies guys.

By borderline student I meant borderline applicant due to crappy EC’s and awards.
