How selective is Johns Hopkins continuing education admissions?

I am a recent graduate of the University of Delaware, where I majored in Neuroscience and minored in Computer Science. I am planning on working for a few years before moving onto graduate school, but during this time I would like to take some classes to fill in what I view as gaps in my education.

One of the positions I have been offered is at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore. Whether or not I accept this position is somewhat dependent on the feasibility of being accepted into classes at Hopkins. Is being accepted into continuing education classes at Hopkins as difficult as being accepted into their undergrad?

At many institutions, continuing education classes are open admission. Contact JHU Continuing Ed, and ask about admission requirements for the specific classes that interest you. Don’t forget to find out if those classes are credit-bearing (generate a college transcript) or non-credit-bearing (no college credits earned).

While you are at it, look at continuing education and credit classes that could serve your interests at the other Baltimore area colleges and universities. For example, CCBC will consider you in-county for tuition and fees after only 90 days living in Baltimore County. Four-year institutions including UM-Baltimore County and Towson U will require 12 months of residency.
