How should i approach this situation?

Well, i took the SAT I once this year (January). I got 790 M, 770 W, and 640 CR. I'm going to take it for a second time this October. I know that nowadays most colleges look at superscore but others do not (ie- cornell). Should i work more on getting the math and writing to 800 or bringing CR over 700+? CR is just hard for me (probably the same for a lot of thers also) I know that in most cases that doing both is possible but i think i can really bring up one or the other more by focusing on either CR or Math/Writing.

I want to try to get 2300+ superscore. CB tests these days are unpredictable but im confident that i can get 780+ M and 740+ W but my scores very a lot in CR on practice tests.

what's your opinion? I need some advice cause school is about to come up, along with writing the essays and the busy busy busy schedule of senior year (ie 7 APs -.-)

thanks.

800 M depends on luck and carefulness. Just try your best.

Looks like you have a lot on your plate. For Ivy Leagues or other similar level colleges, definitely bring CR to 700’s. Your 770 W is already good, but having CR in 600’s can look bad (and it does).

yeah that’s what i mean. Itll be tough to get over what i originally got in M and W but i think i can make up for it by improving a lot in CR. im just worried that W might just drop a bit.
