So I haven't even THOUGHT, let alone review anything about chemistry for 2 years, and since it is a weeder class, I want to make sure I am at least up to par. Would it be enough to bring out my wicked AP chem book and review the concepts? What about for calculus?

Assuming that you have tried the old final exams for those courses to decide your placement in those courses despite AP credit (see <a href=“Exam and Syllabus Database - Tau Beta Pi, California Alpha Chapter”>https://tbp.berkeley.edu/courses/ ), you can emphasize your pre-studying on the concepts associated with the problems you struggled with.

However, those courses are designed for students who have not had them before (i.e. completed high school precalculus/trigonometry and high school chemistry only).
