AP Physics B
AP Calculus AB
AP Chemistry
AP Biology
AP English Literature and Composition (I imagine this one will be the easiest since I've read many of the books on the recommended list)
AP US Government
AP Computer Science
AP French

Are you taking all of these the same year? If so I’d like to point out that taking six Math/Science APs will be very difficult. This does seem more manageable if this is your AP culmination of all four years, however.

Actually, yes, it’s this year. My school doesn’t permit me to take AP sciences or math classes before senior year, I’m afraid. Not much of a choice. Do you have suggestions?

Does you school not have a lab period for science? Your current schedule takes up 11 periods, which I don’t believe any school in America allows.

Comp sci, Lit Comp, French, Calc AB no need to do anything extra. (I took AP spanish, and I didn’t review over the summer, however, I ended up failing the class, so you might want to). Depending on what science course you took last year, I would skip reviewing for that one. IE, if you the chemistry last year, don’t review for AP chem, review for physics or Bio. (I had 98 in honors chem, but I got a 78 in AP chem =[, I think 5 kids on got an A in Chem out of a class of 31 students?) Don’t even bother with Physics B, just self study E/M and Mechanics if your school doesn’t offer it. You got a tough one, but many kids do it every year. Good luck!

We do not have lab periods for sciences.
AP Physics B is being taken over the summer.
I’m taking my last year of French at a local community college.

The other AP classes, I’m taking over as my courses during school.

I’m also considering doing AP Art History, as that’s something the Humanities teacher at our school offers as a 7th period and it sounds incredibly interesting, but I might just do Marketing Seminar instead so I can do DECA, and self-studying AP Art History.

I may be able to do an independent study with my physics teacher for AP Physics C.

I’ll have 8 periods in total. Usually we only have 6, but I’m crazy.

Should I self-study AP Physics C: Mechanics and Calc BC?

Physics C relies heavily on calc, so without a good background in calculus, I’d say no to self studying unless you honestly believe you’re up to it. I know at my school at least, they allow students to take Calc AB at the same time as Physics C, but only with Physics B being taken the previous year. Even then, these students have a much harder time than those who come in after taking at least a semester of calculus.

I would say the Physics C: Mechanics. Assuming you already have sufficient knowledge in physics (at honors or AP B level) and calculus (at AB level, at least), it’s very doable. The calculus used in a typical AP Physics C course can reach calculus III topics( multivariable), but the exam itself will only really go through first year calculus. Because of this, Physics C is actually commonly self-studied after taking AP Physics B and an AP Calculus class.
