How should I mail a recommendation letter that isn't from a teacher?

I had Fairchild Fellow write me a recommendation letter (I knew him ever since I was a little kid, and I feel he knows me very well). I already sent my two teacher recommendations to all my schools through the Common App. So do I have to mail this third recommendation to all of the colleges I'm applying to myself? If so, do all I need to do is have my name on the return address and include the letter and nothing else? Will colleges get the idea that I want this letter to be considered as a part of my application?

Lots of material comes in. Of course it’ll be obvious that it’s a rec letter. They’ll match it to your file. That simple. Anyone can mail it in. Just plainly have your name and DOB on the top margin for convenience’s sake.

Return address is irrelevant unless you mis-address the college or don’t put enough postage on the envelope.
