I want to take the clep test for pre-cal and I haven't taken a clep test before, but I want to do my best, so how do you recommend I should study?

The first step is to make sure you are aware of how the CLEP exam will cover the subject. Find and print the exam description from the CLEP website. This exam description should also have some resources provided (textbooks and/or online resources). You can also pay the $10 fee to download the exam description with the practice test. This practice test will be a good indicator of the difficulty of the actual test and the coverage of the subject. I would suggest checking your public library system to see if any of your local libraries have the CLEP Official Study Guide on their shelves as this one book contains the practice tests for all of the CLEP subjects. Otherwise, google is your friend. There are several good sites out there that provide additional preparation resources and it is not hard to find them with very little effort. Good luck!
