<p>I am extremely involved in graphic design, and I want to know if this type of passion is seen admirably through the eyes of adcoms from top schools. Graphic design isn't as intellectually-engaging as debate, robotics, or programming, but it is what I do.</p>
<p>This is my focus, but I don't really want to major in this. I kind of want to major in Comp Sci, and do graphic design on the side in my spare time during and after college. Will indicating Comp Sci hurt my chances of admission into Stanford, etc. (since I don't have extensive related extra-curriculars) or does it not matter? Do you prefer I leave it undecided (since you have until the end of sophomore year to choose major)?</p>
