How similar is the AP World History Exam to the SAT II World History Exam?

Hi,
I was wondering how similar are these two exams as far as difficulty and also how they are composed. I know that the AP exam has two essays and that it is more analyitical as opposed to memorizing facts. I took the SAT II WH in June and I think I got around a 750 + hopefully, I really want to self-study AP WH because I adore history, in particular World History but if much more harder than the SAT II, then I might not do it. Your advice is greatly appreciated :) and I apoligize for all the posts, its just that this is the only place where I can get all my information because my guidance counselor is not very helpful.

Well, the AP exam actually has 3 AP exams and I would think it would be harder than the SAT II because it is suppose to test everything you learn so you could get college credit.

I have a knack for history so I took both the AP exam and the SAT II. I scored a 5 on the AP and an 800 on the SAT II. SAT II is easier because there are no essays but the multiple choice is basically the same. The collegeboard tends to recycle questions.

So no, it is not much harder.

In my opinion though...I think you should take up a different AP just because I don't think AP history courses have much weight in comparison to AP Physics C or AP Calc AB. I took the SAT II World History since I knew it was easy and APWH was the first AP I ever took.
