I’ve been admitted to both College Science Scholars and Echols. Are those two programs worth out of state tuition?
One of my acquaintances was in CSS and she did ugrad research starting her first year. If you are trying to go to a really prestigious grad school it might be worth it, if your family can afford it. Otherwise not worth the loans.
Yup I want to get into super nice grad school. It really gives you the edge (or chance to get the edge) for that?
As @hazelorb mentioned, it gives you a lot of opportunities to interact with Professors. CSS students take a class specifically for them where professors come in and talk to them about their research. This helps students get on-board early which is always a plus for grad school.
