How the prestigiosity ratings became green!

This is very frustrating… All of you who have kindly greenied me will jsut ahve to wait, as it is saying I have to spread the love further than before. I think I need a shot of penicillin. Sounds creepy.

Moreover, I repped you last night so I will book you for tomorrow night.

As for my green square progress, I am a mere padawan learning from Obi-Wan LoremIpsum’s techniques and knowledge and deeply humbled by the fairy dusts bestowed on me by the Empress, Lorem, and all other generous players like you. :)

Thank you, folks! Xiggi and “TNT” helped me over the top for another green. But who is TNT? My memory fails me – it’s from a seasoned vet, not the person registered as TNT, who has all of two posts.

I am channeling an abbreviation with Texas for no logical reason.

I got some from TNT too. Thanks!

This thread is slow!

I am 3 points from another green box.

Too soon for me again, somemom. Ready in about 22 hours.

somemom if my calculations are correct I can’t rep you until tomorrow but will try tonight. I’m out of juice this morning.

Every time I click on this thread, I am reminded that its all about the greenies and veered FAAAAR away from original topic. I hope the initial posters and the OP don’t mind.

bookworm, I think that the prestigiousity of individual members (as evidenced by little green boxes) just adds to what they can contribute to threads, and, therefore, to the prestigiousity of schools.

Sort-of like having Nobel prize winners contributes to the prestige of schools, if you care about that instead of prestigiousity.

Good day all! Glad to be here with daytime greenies - can’t hit jym,LI, poetgrl, sherpa, 12rmh,or dowzerw yet but on my list. Thanks to all my fine friends for last night’s love. I also have my first totally blank comment box -interesting.

Oh, bookworm, I definitely see the link between the greenies and prestigiosity ratings. Yep. Its there.

While we are at it (at what?!), I am curious about the age ranges of those who have gotten sucked into the green square syndrome. Id like to tally under 25s and over 25 years old. I’ll start.

Over 25. Definitely over.

Over 25. Write me up for two spots.

But isn’t this what you would expect in the parents’ section of a college-bound message board?

Mo, thanks for sharing your splendor with me. I’ll be back tonight to spread more love.

dowzer: 25 is in my rearview mirror too. I didn’t play video games in my college years, so perhaps the conquest of greenies is part of a mid-life crisis?

definitely over 25 except in my dreams! Do not make more any more age categories besides these two :).

My pleasure 12rmh.
I have never played anything but a little tetris and a few internet word games, so I share your concerns.

LI, Im too old to notice which yard I am playing in any more. I just wanted to get a sense of how many “grown ups” are guilty of absolutely useless time wasting behavior. I imagine if we met in real life, we would never admit to these activities. Shhh…its just between us! ;)

In a society where millions of people watch American Idol, this would be considered an embarrassment?

(For what it’s worth, I have never actually seen American Idol – I don’t even own a TV set anymore)

dowzerw 482,
I suspect most of us on this thread are over 25. It’s “parent forum” after all. :)

Cough. Cough. I’m ashamed. You’re missing out Lorem. Sometimes, you come across a talent that is like a bud unfolding right in front of you.
