How to access IDOC

You can enter your SS# and birthday in the form and it will come up without an IDOC number if there is one available for you to do.

We got the e-mail and prepared the package over the weekend. In the IDOC e-mail, it has your IDOC ID on it. You need 2 of the 3 following to login:

IDOC ID, SSN, and/or birthday

It would not log in if you enter all 3 though.

Go through the IDOC instruction carefully and prepare the package accordingly. Send only the document it requested on the instruction. Each person may be required to send in different documents. So don’t assume you need the 1099.

Note that the IDOC deadline is different from the orignal CSS profile deadline.

Are you sure you have to file the IDOC by the school deadline? I think the school deadline is for the CSS form. Basically, the financial aid office needs the CSS form so that it can start deciding what financial aid you get. The IDOC is just to confirm the numbers on the CSS, and that could be done later.

We have a mutual fund that isn’t going to issue a 1099 until Feb 18, so IDOC before then would be impossible for us.

There is a deadline for the IDOC submission on the instruction. However, it also said you may submit it as soon as possible if you have missed the deadline. In general, complete the submission sooner may help you to secure the financial aid you are eligible to as funding may be limited.

To those who mailed their IDOC about a week ago, does it still show not yet received Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC);

I know they got it yesterday USPS priority mail tracker

^^ Yes still shows not received… was delivered Monday.
