Hi! I’m planning on applying to Duke early decision, but I have a question on which standardized test to send. I’ve taken the ACT with Writing and have gotten a 34 composite, and I also have taken two SAT Subject Tests: Math 2 and Biology E. My question is about what to send to the school. Duke requires you to send an ACT score w/ writing OR an SAT score w/ 2 subject tests. Should I send just my ACT score or should I send it along side my subject tests?
The ACT is allowed in place of the SAT and subject tests, so technically you could just submit your ACT and you would be fine. However, you took the time to take the subject tests, so if you scored well you should send those in too. If you didn’t do well, just send your ACT. Good luck!
