Natural fruits like apples and oranges and such have no additives to them, which means the sugars in them arent very harmful. Pretty much all fresh natural fruit will have the sugar fructose which isnt really that bad for you compared added fake sugars. Just because the sugar is natural doesnt mean eat all the fruit you want, Id say eat 1 serving with 2 meals (1 in morning 1 in evening) to get the best benefit.

stick to this for a week and you wil shed 10 lbs.

breakfast- a bagle with nothing on it
snack- a apple
lunch- a ton of broccli and cellerie
snack- more broccli and cellerie
dinner- more broccli and cellerie and chicken breast

run 2 miles a day
do 500 situps a day -- doable-- 50 ata time and once you are at the top of the situp flex ur abs -- this will burn way more calories
150 pushups

a multi vit pill, and a ton of water or diet soda or anything with no calories

this is an easy way to shread weight and keep it off
do this for 5 days and do not cheat

forget all this other crap people are posting like no fructose and stuff like that
stay to my plan!!!

Pathetic...

some bad info on here:

diet soda, bad because of aspartame
don't need a specific diet, everyone is different
situps are optional, but will lead to back pain
running is not the only form of cardio and will lead to knee pain
weights will not make you bulk unless you try, and it will still be tough then
you don't have to eat all small meals, because our body is so efficient, but is much better
never go low carbs as you are hurting your body, and only losing water weight
fruit is perfectly fine, especially post workout along with other high GI foods
junk food doesn't necessarily make you fat, it is calories, but an excess will
you must have cheat days, once a week(maintenance plus) or your metabolism will slow after 6 weeks
dont just do curls, or bodyweight, check out http://www.exrx.net/Lists/Directory.html
tons of exercises
45 minutes of 10-16 sets with 15-30 reps to failure/close would be good for you. Stick to compounds, and don't become a curl jockey. Cardio 2-5 times a week is good, as long as you sweat. Uphill fast walking, crunches, bike, and rowing are my favorite cardio forms(although i don't have a boat :()
Eat about 300 cal below maintenance, and 1 maybe 2 a week at most
the more water the better, 8-16 cups.
25-50g of fiber helps aid in fighting hunger as well
fat is not the enemy, is your ally. 20-30 percent fat, around a gram of protein per lb of bw is good, and rest carbs.
Eat from all food groups.
Losing/gaining weight takes a lot of will power
you must never give up
good luck!

as you can see theres a lot of conflicting information. that's cause your question is too complicated to be answered in just one thread. if you do research on the internet (which you should) you'll still find a lot of conflicting information, so it's your job to try different things and also figure out for yourself whether the source you got the information from is reliable. Here, thedude gave good info on diet, but I would say that you should start a weightlifting program. That will probablly be more effective than cardio for achieving your goals. But that's not to say you shouldn't do cardio; you should definitely do both.

a good place to read is the forums at www.bodybuildingforyou.com but u still have to discern the credibility of the people; some of them have no clue what they're talking about.

Running leads to knee pain? That's a definite myth that everyone believes. Yes it will lead to knee pain if you are a certain amount overweight because of the added force on your joints from the extra weight. If you are at a healthy weight then it shouldn't lead to knee pain at all, I've run a 100 mile week with no pain at all.

yeah some of the things rbc wrote are very questionable.

Uhh so is eating just brocoli for meals. I really wouldn't trust anythign you read on here. Just ask the front desk at your gym if you can have a personal trainer plan something out for you... or if you dont' belong to a gym / additional funds would be attached to that, just ask your PE teacher at school. I'm sure they will give you more healthy advice than here.

omg, i really need to loose weight...i am going to college next year and i want to look my best. but i get really discouraged fast...

swim. alot.

airforce1-please dont post about diets again.
rbc13-low carb diets only lose water weight? ha! If your body goes into a state of ketosis your body is burning mainly fat, but if you are not supplying your body with the right amount of protein, your body will start to use protein(muscle) as an energy source, which is why when people go on a low carb diet and dont eat protein, and they lose muscle, and when they go off low carb, they gain a lot more fat, because they have less muscle to burn the fat that they gained.

Faux-im sure a gym teacher knows a lot about nutrition, considering most of them are 250 lbs with 35% bodyfat.

cats-the only person whos credability I would question is yours.

Cut meals? What the heck lol no... in order to loose weight you have to gain hella weight. Then get plastic surgeory thats whats in.

Moi aussi mademoiselle!!!
