How to calculate GPA to transfer????Help me~~!!!!

Hello guyz.

I have question on how to calculate college GPA.

I am freshman student on one of the UC schools.

Before coming here, i have taken two calculus classes through california state university (my HS did not have AP, instead they offered class through cal state.)

For this reason, i don''t have to take first two calculus class in the current
college.

When i say my college GPA for transferring, do those two calculus classes taken during high school get counted against my college GPA? or do they only give me credit, so i don't have to worry about those classes when i apply as a transfer student??

I heard that classes taken during HS or classes taken outside the enrolled college don't matter.(meaning they only give me credit.)

Is it true????

do those two calculus classes taken during high school get counted against my college GPA? or do they only give me credit, so i don't have to worry about those classes when i apply as a transfer student??

Credit. If I understand correctly, your UC GPA can only include coursework taken at the UC.

You can really get the answer by reading your college's catalog or asking a counselor there!

I know at my school they would take those two classes as credit, but it does not contribute to your GPA... so thats probably what yours does as well

Thanks for reply.

I asked my adviser today, and she said it does not go against UC GPA.

I could not ask about whether the college i will apply would require me

only UC GPA or UC GPA AND ALL OTHER GPA FROM CLASSES TAKEN OUTSIDE

THE CURRENT COLLEGE.....

does anybody know??

I sent e-mail to admission staffs of some colleges i will apply, but they

did not reply yet.

They will require information pertaining to ALL of your coursework, including grades. If you have the opportunity (and depending on where you are applying), you can also put in the respective GPAs.
