How to choose between the admission offer of various universities?

There is serious problem which I am facing right now. I have been accepted in 8 universities and received a letter of regret from 1 university. All my decisions have not been uploaded yet, and I am wondering how to choose between these universities and the upcoming acceptance offers.

Please help me out with your suggestions.

Check the net prices and remove the unaffordable ones.

Check that you were admitted to the major you applied to, or if there is another admission process to get into your major after enrolling.

Reconsider what led you to apply to each one and see how you rank them now.

Cost is a big factor!

Consider also the atmosphere, the student body, extracurricular offerings/activities, the location, etc. While this is a place that will educate you for 4-6 years, it’s also a place where you’ll live - and a place that will shape you as a young adult. What will your peers be like, the people you’ll be taking classes with and socializing with for the next 4-6 years? Are there activities that you do now that you’d like to continue, or maybe that you haven’t tried that you’d like to try? Would you rather be somewhere it’s sunny and warm most of the year or where you can experience all four seasons?

Here is a good calculator that lets you compare three at a time: http://www.finaid.org/calculators/awardletteradvanced.phtml

If you are offered merit-based scholarships, find out what GPA you need to maintain to keep that scholarship, and whether or not you can regain the scholarship if you lose it.

Are you able to go to any accepted student visits? If so, pick your top 3 that are affordable and strong in your academic interest and go to those visits. 24 hours on campus can be very revealing.
