How to convince my principal to change my scheldule?

I want to switch from AP Physics b to honors physics next semester. I have a B in the class, but the only reason I have that grade is because all the tests are curved and the quizzes are re takeable. I got E's on all the unit tests we have had and the class is too fast paced for me and I don't understand anything. I also have two other AP classes (AP Lang and AP World) and I have all honors classes, so I usually stay up late doing homework or studying. I had my counselor talk to my principal and to my physics teacher, but they all want me to stay in the class since i have a B in the class. I also asked my counselor the second week of school if I could switch, but she said no. My principal told me that there is a slim chance that I can switch, because it would mess up their staffing ( No idea what that means) and that if she lets me switch, she would have to let other people switch. However, one of my friends switched from AP Bio to honors without a problem. Should I still have my parents talk to my principal even though she and my counselor said that I have to stay in it? I understand that if there is no space in honors physics that I won't be able to switch, but they never told me if the honors physics class was full or not. Also, for some reason at my school schedule changes have to be approved by the principal and not the guidance counselor. Also, my counselor told me that whether or not I take the AP exam is up to my principal, so even if I have to stay in the class, I can't choose to not take the AP exam.

Definently have your parents talk to the principal. I had the same problem today so I understand what you’re going through.
