There's this guy who is just really annoying. He thinks that I'm his best friend for some reason, and it's really bringing me down socially. See, I'm a really cool guy. I look good. Girls like me. I'm smart, athletic. Etc. But I think I'm TOO nice. Should I stop being so nice to this guy? I mean I'm the only person in my school who really gives him a time of day. He's a bit of a weirdo...
I don't wanna be a royal arse. But what should I do?

Clearly he admires you, which a compliment at any rate. If you want to be a nice person, you can continue to say hi to him in the hall or something occasionally, but make it clear that you’d prefer to talk to your friends than to him. Just a suggestion.

Was the object of this post to seek advice, or to brag about how intellectual and athletic and attractive you are?

Either way, just tell him. It’s the better thing to do, to be straight up and not leave it unsaid.

Play him at his own game until he gets freaked out.

^^^I agree. Make him get tired of you instead
