<p>Do you mean that you’ve been admitted, but you choose not to enroll? (I’d call that declining enrollment, rather than denying.)</p>
<p>Send them a letter explaining your decision. They might be interested in knowing what you plan to do instead, so you could tell them something like, “I have decided to enroll at [elsewhere].” Or if you look in the packet you got when you were admitted, there’s probably a form you can just fill out and mail back.</p>
