Hi, I’m a college freshman. I have an activity, lets say debate, that I participate in at my current college. I also participated in this event actively in high school (won awards, captained, etc.) and currently help coach a different high school team.
Should I put this under three different “activities”?? There is no way to fit this all in one section.
Anybody? I don’t want to annoy the adcoms by splitting everything up, but I also want to accurately describe my commitment - both in hs and college - to this activity.
Here’s how I’d list it as one activity
Debate
(Years active)
-Participate in 3x week, debate champions 3x
-Coach high school team
I don’t think you need to break up your high school/college participation unless it’s truly unique
Does anybody else have any thoughts on this?
Assuming there is an additional info section, you can put an activity like “Debate”, then “See Additional Info” in the description. Then you can put “Activities - Debate” in Add’l Info, and concisely bullet the 3 items under it.
