Look at dorm options. That was a big selling point for me when we were touring campuses. Ds is a rule follower and doesn’t even drink alcohol. I thought he’d adjust better living with kids he had something in common with. At ds’s ginormous state school, there’s a dorm for engineers next to a dorm for science students-you can bet that, between the two, there are peers who don’t party and whom take school seriously! In fact, it’s considered the nerdy side of campus whereas another side of campus is where the “party” dorms are located.
