Now my question is how exactly can get be qualified to get into a FL school for IST... My dad owns multiple businesses in FL, owns real-estate and rents out many apartments.. I am completing High School in Pennsylvania, but, how exactly will I be able to apply as an ISS.

It’s simple - the answer is since you live in PA and go to High School in PA - you cannot qualify as a FL resident. You aren’t one - so you can’t qualify as one.

Does your dad live full time in FL? or does he manage the businesses and properties from PA?

If your dad lives in Florida more than 50% of the time, you might qualify for instate tuition.

If his businesses are in FL but he lives elsewhere, you won’t qualify for instate tuition in FL.

You are a PA resident with instate status in PA.

If you are a high school junior and your family relocates to Florida this summer, you would be instate when college starts in fall 2014. If you are a high school senior now, it’s too late for that move.
