How to get into ASU?

Background: I am currently a high school student in SoCal that is looking at potential colleges with a good business program. As I was doing my research, I became increasingly more interested in ASU as well as their undergrad business program.

I have a few questions regarding getting accepted into Arizona State University as an OOS applicant.

  1. Would I have a good chance of getting accepted with a 3.2 GPA?
  2. Is it hard to get accepted being an OOS applicant?
  3. Is it true that you are ‘automatically’ in if you have above a 3.0 GPA?

Answers would be much appreciated!

PS: I have not taken the SAT or ACT yet.

ASU indeed has a highly-regarded business school with a significant name: WP Carey School of Business. The supply chain management program is one of the most noted in the country–top students in that major have several offers before graduation. Accounting and information systems are also very strong.

The requirements are on the website for admission, and there is no shortage of SoCal students that attend there.

Look on their website. When you apply you will get AUTOMATICALLY accepted if you mean like one of their standards I think. If you don’t meet any then your app will go under review. But I think with above a 3 you are guaranteed to get in.

@joeyJ56 So basically, if I have above a 3.0 GPA, I would be an automatic admit?

Not exactly. You are an auto-admit to the school if you meet the standards for admission on this page: https://students.asu.edu/freshman/requirements
