How to get into housing portal

My daughter was accepted to Pomona and she is tying to apply for housing, but she can’t login. Her login information is valid, and she can login to check her status (and see her acceptance) but when she tries to login to the housing portal it tells her that the login failed. Is she going to the right link? Is there something she needs to do to be able to login? Can anyone who has been able to login to the housing portal please help?

@Mom2Engineers Go to university housing. Green page comes up. Don’t log into 1st portal. Scroll down to shibboleth login. That one works. So happy her acceptance came in!

Thanks, @CopperlineX2 ! We are happy too!

She is trying the second login. The green button at the bottom. It brings her to a login page and she filling in her myCPP credentials, but then it goes to an error page and says that the login failed. This is the same username and password that logs into myCPP. But it can’t login to the Shiboleth portal. Unfortunately the housing office is closed over the long weekend so we can’t reach then for help, and We know that time is important when applying…

Is it some kind of update thing where they need to get her info into the system?

That could be it. Son got accepted 2/2 but housing portal didn’t open until 2/6, so maybe the extra days helped. It’s still early, so I’m sure freshman hall housing will still have plenty of space. Portal is working, so maybe try again tomorrow and Monday to see if everything’s gone through.

Yes, that’s the current plan. I was just hoping that someone else here was having the same issue and might have insight on resolving it.

In case anyone else is following this thread, The CPP Housing Office said that the students who w4ere accepted on Friday are still be put into the housing system, so it might be a few more days before they can access the housing portal.

My daughter’s housing application was finally available this morning! If anyone else who was accepted last week is trying to get in, it should be available now!
