<p>In my opinion, not worth it. Very good on apps but a fraud of an organization. They make entrance elite and then don't do anything with the intelligent and service oriented students they've acquired. At least that's what it is like at my school. I got in by the way, it's not bitterness that says this but experience.</p>

<li>20+ hrs of community service</li>
<li>leadership position</li>
<li>good "character" (meaning you've never gotten detentions, suspensions, yadda yadda)</li>

<p>At my school, you had to be involved in... in school activities, outside of school activities, have a 3.5 GPA or higher, and have 3 teachers fill out recommendations for you (the recommendations had to be positive...of course...lol.)</p>
