How to get started

So finally, all my SAT prep books have come in from amazon. YAY! it's finally time to start studying! however, i'm having this small teeeensy little problem: I CAN'T GET INTO IT. idk why, but whenever it's time to start "studying," i just end up flipping through the prep book and reading random strategies. so i was wondering, how did you get started studying? did you use any kind of systematic schedule? i'm leaning toward xiggi's method right now, but i just don't really know how to approach it. help is appreciated.

It would help if you provide us with some information regarding your strengths/weakness and your current score level. If your just going to ask "how should i approach it", id say open the book and start from the first page.

ah, ok. well i got around a 1900 on my first test, and i'm pretty even when it comes to the diffrent sections (around 650 on each section). i understand xiggi's method, just not how to get started.
