How to get the most out of Cal Day?

My major is Biochem and I'll be going to Cal day in April! I've never been to Cal day and I'm really excited but scared at the same time. I just hope I don't miss anything important!

What happens at Cal day? Do I have to sign up anywhere or do I just show up? Will there be guides to show students around or will I have to walk around and discover the campus for myself? How do I get the most out of Cal day?

Thanks so much in advance!

Get into the school first. You will see a page with Cal Day registration and you get reserve your spots. There will be campus tours and different activities, I don’t know if Berkeley has any confirmed events yet. Check out Berkeley’s Cal Day website for all the information.

Go online to the Cal Day website in advance, and read through all of the options. There are guides and tours available all over campus, booths for student organizations in the center of campus near Moffitt, and you will want to go on some housing tours. There is so much to do that you’ll want to plan ahead about how to prioritize your day-have fun!

Alright, thank you!
So I won’t have to sign up or register anywhere in advance?

No you just go. My advise is to just get there early and go on a tour (campus and housing) and afterwards go look at all the booths. Just a warning, Cal day is crazy crowded, I went there my senior year of hs and then have avoided it every year after haha
