Recently took the SAT (May) and got my grades back got a 1660 which is great (my highest score) but i would like to get my score up to a 1800 or a higher on the next SAT (September/October?). My grades break down to as follows:

CR: 580
Math: 530
Writing: 550 (8 on my essay)

I would like to improve my CR to 650 (tie for the highest i've got on my practice exams), Math to atleast 550 (would be my highest), and Writing to 600 (would be my highest)

The last time i didn't study Vocabulary so i'll do it this time, I'm only able to do the first 12 math questions on each section (always get q's after 12 wrong) , Writing i have no idea how to get up always 550-570 and the Essay i didn't finish so i think i ll do better this time (by finishing hopefully)

Any advice you have to raise my scores to those grades will be greatly appreciated also what is the best SAT Math Book and Vocabulary Book. I already have the Blue Book and i've been using Testive, Khan, Sparknotes and Habitat

Best vocab book - Princeton Review Wordsmart or Direct Hits (2 books)
Best math book - PWNtheSAT or Barrons Math.
You need to take fully timed Blue Book practice tests. Go back and check your answers.
Go to SATQuantum dot com for video answers on all the Blue Book math. Similar to Khan.
Writing - SAT Grammar by Erica Meltzer. Go to her website. Lots of info from her book on her website.

I suggest that you spend a few hours researching on the site before ordering the books. Some of the books recommended above are typically frowned upon here.

The blue book is good. A book I particularly found helpful, especially in regards to teaching you strategies at problems you are unfamilar with is the Gruber’s book. Most books give you basic problem sets and solutions, but this book gives you STRATEGIES, to solve these problems. As a person not particularly strong in mathematics, I found this book to be particularly helpful.
