Anyone have any helpful tips or suggestions? I need to improve it by 150 points
Right now, the reading section is only 25% of the score. If you want to improve it by 7-8 points, reading tips and being ruthless about understanding mistakes will help you. Prepscholar blog posts help as well.
Have you tried practising? The College Board Practice Tests are the most accurate ones ever.
Yeah I know I have a target score of 1500 and I am currently getting a subscore of 28 out of 40. looking to get that to at least a 35 subscore. I am practicing and learning more about the questions, but I don’t read that fast and I take a long time to answer the questions. Any tips on how to speed us and understand everything? Or any general tips to help me improve my scores on take the test fast and do well? Anything helps @DartMonkey93
Do the SAT questions of the day. As for a prep book, I took the old SAT (I’m in college now) and I used The Critical Reader: The Complete Guide to SAT Reading. I am pretty sure there is an updated version for the new SAT. I improved my CR score by 140 points after using that for a few months. Also just take as many practice tests as you can find from the SAT.
