Your an impressive and strong candidate, congratulations! Make sure your essays are revealing, compelling and true to who you are. I had the Dean at one of the schools you are contemplating say that when they read essays they try and hear the students voice and picture the student as self described. It isn’t just what or how you say it, but how it makes the reader feel.

Think Maya Angelou quote “People will forget what you said, did, etc …but they will always remember how you made them feel”

You have done the majority of the work needed. Put the time and effort into the essay. Good luck.

Thank you! May I ask which college the Dean was from?

Brown while discussing the practice vs concept of holistic comparison.

Your list is very reach heavy. Consider adding some match schools. Also, if you are planning on pre-med, you may want to have some shadowing experiences and volunteer hours on your application.

Great work so far! Like @momofsenior1 said, you might want to tailor some of your ECs to your major. The Math 2 score needs to be near an 800 and the SAT score needs to be higher before you have a good shot, but since you said you’re retaking both, that’s not really an issue. By the way I also recommend taking the ACT because personally I found it much easier back when I took it. Since you have time until you actually apply, I definitely recommend that you run for positions in the organizations that you’re part of. You need your application to stand out, and your ECs could use this. With some shadowing/volunteer hours and leadership positions, you put yourself in a better spot. Other than that, academics are looking good, so good luck!
