Currently I am scoring around the 650 range on a majority of practice tests for the Math Level 2 Subject test. I was wondering what adjustments I would need to make in order to achieve above at least a 730. Also, how vital is using a graphing calculator when taking this test. Thank You.

Just read a statistic saying College Board assumes students will use a calculator on 40% of the questions somewhere. You could probably increase your score by reviewing all the practice tests you’ve done and actually understanding where your errors were. Finding shortcuts for the more difficult problems on the practice tests would help also. Goodluck and I hope you reach your target score.

Thanks for the information and the advice

If you’re not already doing so, it might help to review the Barron’s Book because it is VERY helpful. The topics go in depth and give detailed examples. Yes, the tests in there are harder than the actual test, but if you get good scores(I’d say 670s-700s) on the practice tests, that could boost your score highly.
