How do you guys motivate yourself to keep working to achieve good grades and test scores? I'm having trouble staying motivated so your insight will be greatly appreciated!

Female humans.

Thanks for the response wcao! Although I have the smallest feeling that you may be trolling, I can see how that can be a good way to motivate yourself.

insert stupid comment about how there’s a female human in my bed every night and it never did me any good

I get good grades because I feel dumb if I don’t and a lot of my self-worth is based on how intelligent I feel.

By knowing that if I suffer through this know, I can have fun times later.

Getting good grades in high school is seriously meaningless for me. The only motivating factor is to get the best college experience which is only possible at a school like UCLA (which does require good grades). Other than having to study History, English, the arts, etc. is just pointless.

halcyonheather summed it up for me.
P.S plus I kinda have a superiority complex

Thanks for the replies guys!

If I wasn’t beating other people on tests I would feel about as useful as a rock. But then I would realize how many practical uses rocks have, and realize I am more insignificant than a rock.
