What is a good prepbook for the english lit SAT II? I'm taking AP Literature this year, but I believe that I've already read most of the books on the AP Literature syllabus, and I scored a 5 on the Language exam. Is the SAT II equivalent/easier/more difficult than AP Language or Lit?

You don't need to study for the SAT II Literature test. It's basically just one of those things where you had to have taken a comprehensive, intensive class to improve your skills, or you have to be a natural and critical reading type stuff.

Way easier than AP Lit, though. If you're doing well in that, don't worry. It's like twice as hard as the SAT reasoning test's CR, and I still got a 730, quite unexpectedly.

Get Kaplan or PR and study the literary terms.

It seemed to me to be basically the same thing as the AP Lit, except easier, and obviously without essays. I took it this past June, a month after the AP test, and made an 800 without any additional studying...but I did have the whole year of AP Lit. One of my other friends took SAT Lit at about this point last year, while taking AP Lit and having made a 5 on Lang, just like you, and she made a 740, I believe. Plus she was a Junior then. So you should be fine.
