How to prepare for the weather? Suggestions?

Michigan students go flip flops to uggs and flip flops when the snow melts!

You can find people to play in the snow! Maybe snow angles in the Arb…

Markley dorm was so warm that my daughter (including her CA roommate) NEVER turned on their heat freshman year.

The seaons changing is awesome. I LOVE the fall with lots of colors as the leaves change. Make sure you plan a fall trip to one of our Apple Orchards!

Awww … it got much cooler after the storms, so hopefully that was some relief, but I hear that it can get warm again tomorrow.

This is why ice cream sundaes were invented! :D

95 degrees? It’s going to hit 110 degrees in Dubai today!

^^^With very high humidity too! See what I learned Alexandre? ;-)

Snow Day - Supposedly, the first snow day in U of M history was the Monday after Thanksgiving in 1974. That Sunday it snowed about 15-20 inches and most of the freeways and airports were closed. Very few could make it back from Thanksgiving break.

I drove back that Sunday afternoon from the east side of Detroit with two friends and it took us 4 hours!

^Please take note that it rarely snows even a foot of snow in a snowstorm here in Michigan. IMO, I only remember seeing that like 2 times in my life. A foot of snow is ALOT and the chances of a snow day at Michigan is next to 0.

Classes are rarely canceled at Michigan. In fact, I think I only had to miss 3 days of work this past winter.
