How to score my PSAT Practice Test

So how do I grade it. I have the 2005 PSAT Test. For my CR I got 3 wrong in section 1 and 1 wrond in section 3. So how do I get my raw score?

So you got 4 wrong total. With the guessing penalty, you lose 1/4 raw point for each wrong answer so you lost 5 in raw score. Now look at the table and see your score for -5 raw.

SAT grading is not a complex process, certainly not worth 2 threads. You just add up all the questions you got right, then subtract .25 points for every multiple choice Q you got wrong. The total after the subtracting is your raw score.

Basically its like this:

of total correct - (# of total wrong/4) = raw score

i know that but how do i grade grid-ins
thanks

If you miss the grid-ins, you do not get deducted that 1/4

I’m sorry but I can’t answer your question. The aforementioned comments say how to score it. Don’t stress over the PSAT score. Instead, focus on understanding them because they are OFFICIAL questions released by CB. So 1800, 1830, or 1850, don’t worry; learn from the mistakes. Its cliche, but if spend an hour calculating a score, you’ve lost 1 valuable hour of preparation.

let me clear it all up:

Basically its like this:

of total correct - (# of total wrong/4) = raw score

for the grid ins…you count the number correct and add it to the “# of total correct”, if any of the grid ins are wrong, you dont count them at all (no deduction for incorrect grid ins)

hope that helps.
