For one interested in the pre-med track, how does one show a strong interest through highschool? What I can think of: Take science and math courses like AP Psych, AP Bio, AP Chem, AP Calc, etc. Clubs like liveright, acs, medcorps, etc, are good too. what else can you do? Internships perhaps?

You can volunteer at a hospital.

Hospital volunteering is a fine idea, but you can also volunteer at other healthcare facilties like nursing homes or groups home for the disabled. In fact, any kind of volunteering where you will directly helping people is great: Big Brother/Big Sister, tutoring disadvantaged middle schoolers, soup kitchens, Special Olympics, Red Cross, etc

But you should be aware that any activities you do during high school will not be considered when you go to apply to medical schools. Only activities done during college.
