How to show colleges an "unofficial" talent of yours?

I got really into making ...I've never done it officially but I'm really good and do some somewhat advanced stuff (ie this is one of the most advanced things I've gotten too: http://www.thenibble.com/zine/archives/images/pistachio-280s.jpg )
It's not really that impressive in terms of a college application but it's something that I'm really into and am, according to people who try what I make, really good at it. Is there a way to include this in my college application (without including it in an essay, as I have better topics for those) or is it not really worth the bother?
Thanks for any help :D

See if there is an “Arts” supplemental application (or something similar to what you do) and make a notation that you aren’t applying to that particular school and attach a cd/DVD of examples of what you do. Be creative in showing your samples and note what they are and when you made them.
That’s the only thing I can think of to do.

I looked into that, I think I might go that option…

Is it alright if I include this in the “skills” section of the resume I plan to attach? Here is how I’ve stated it:

I am a skilled cook and baker and have explored many advanced recipes for making chocolate and various baked goods on my own.
