Hi, I am an LSP prospective freshman who is trying to sign up for his classes 4 next year. The sign up process began on June 1st.
However, when I try to follow the instructions that are given, I end up at a page that says something to the degree of "if you are a student don't click continue, this is for staff & counselors only"

I also read somewhere else that I would be receiving a call from an academic counselor over the summer.

Does anyone know if I am supposed to wait for this call/authorization to sign up for classes?
If not, can someone fill me in PLZ.

I was under the impression that incoming Freshman cannot sign up for classes on the internet. I thought it was done during your particular schools orientation. Gallitan sent out a notice to come to orientation with a list of potential classes so you can register then.

Not all of the NYU schools have an on-campus summer orientation:

“Some NYU colleges invite students to campus during the summer, while others conduct their programs during the annual University-wide NYU Welcome Week (August 30th - September 3rd). Your school, college, or program will contact you directly with additional details, but a summary of planned activities is below for your reference.”

Here is the link to the Freshman Orientation info:

Go to NYU Home. Click the “Academics” tab at the top. In the upper-lefthand corner of the site it says “login to albert” or something. click that. Then it will bring you to the Albert feature. Click “registration” as a tab (or look through the options on the screen you’re on). And I’m sure you can figure it out from there :)
