<p>I know this question is a bit silly, but how to start a common app essay?
I have been looking through all the 6 questions and i dont know which one to choose. I tried to start with question 6 : topic of your choice just because i dont know what to write. However, i found myself struggling with it as well. What do colleges expect from a common app essay? What should/ do I need to show in my essay? I need your helps !!!!</p>

I know it may seem difficult but it really isn’t.
Find one small thing in your life that defines the person you are today, then write a story about it.
Relax, don’t sit at your computer trying to crunch out something, let it come to you - let it be meaningful.</p>
