I would really like to be in the top 1% come junior year. I'm only a sophomore but I'd still like to study for it. How do you study and what practice books should I use?

It’s like the SAT, just harder. I’d say just get that blue Collegeboard SAT book and go through the whole thing, and to also do the math sections from Barron’s, Kaplan, and Princeton Review (don’t do the reading/writing sections from anything but Collegeboard as they can make you worse). Learn some extra vocab if you can - the yellow Gruber’s book has a good list. You don’t have to prep for an essay as the PSAT doesn’t have one.

thank you, I have the same question. So prepare for PSAT just like SAT then

I don’t know if this will help, but for my daughter, the best preparation for the PSAT was being a life long voracious reader, taking the test her freshman and sophomore year, (her school allowed certain students to take it early), and taking the most difficult coursework available. She never directly studied for the test, save for glossing over a few sections the night before. She scored in the top 1% .

That is really good news! My daughter is also a life long reader, she just loves reading so much. I think this is the best way for examination
