How to submit recommendation letter to UT and UC???

<p>^^ This is not for honors program. I just want to do it as a freshmen recommended option.</p>

<p>So my teacher gave me a sealed envelope with a recommendation letter. But as the deadline is this Saturday for UT and tomorrow for UC. I was wondering if I can upload a scanned recommendation letter by unsealing the envelope. But I haven't submitted my essays as yet. And UT says that u aren't able to submit other items until they receive the application and this might take a few days. If I send through mail, it would take a long time to get there and I won't have a ride anyways to go to the post office. I am panicking! What should I do? Although it's only recommended, I really wanna send it to increase y chances. I am not in the top quarter of my school.

<p>I believe that UT has extended its period of acceptance for optional material until December 10th, so I wouldn’t worry too much about sending the letters of recommendation by mail. There’s also the possibility to upload the letter but first you have to submit the application for that option to become available.
Hope this clarifies some of you questions (:</p>

<p>Oh yeah and UC won’t let you send letters of recommendation or transcripts until you’re admitted.</p>

A rec letter can arrive by Dec 10.</p>

<p>UCs neither want nor accept rec letters.</p>
