How to tackle the Critical Reading Section

Just reading those passages gives me headaches. The PR prep course does not have good CR techniques and its slowing me down to look at each answers carefully. Im okay with the vocab but the passages (esp ones from a novel) drive me insane. I cant get the general idea in some of these passages when I try to read it. I would greatly appreciated if someone with high CR scores to help me please. :)

Before anyone say about getting the BB, I intend to get one.

Find something in each passage to care about. You can't score well if you don't accept and embrace the passages :)

i dont like scientific ones, but i love narrative ones, the ones from the novels,..

I dose off when theres a narrative of a novel

i dose off on the history/art stuff.......

I dose off on all sat passages (except for cool science ones which is like 5% of the time)...I have the same problem with you I suck at CR and sometimes I can't get the main gist of the passage and most of the time I can't squeeze out the details from it -_-. Lmk what works for you

IMO, this is also a big problem of mine. When I see the long passages, my first reaction is, "Oh,crap" I can't focus in on the details.
